Terms of Service

This is a development policy draft, not an approved public-service agreement. The platform owner must review it before a public launch.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kogito Academy platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Use of the Service

You agree not to:

• Share your account or course access with others;
• Copy, redistribute, or resell course content;
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform's security;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Enrollments

The current local foundation provides access to published courses without checkout. Courses must be reviewed by the platform owner before publication.

AI learning credits

Student accounts receive 2,000 welcome credits once. Credits are a learning allowance, shared across courses. A small amount is held while a request runs; only the actual usage of an accepted, in-scope reply is charged. Failed, interrupted or out-of-scope replies cost no credits. Running out does not remove your lessons, assessments or saved work.

Online paid top-ups are not enabled yet. Owner-issued credits are grants, not proof of a payment. Checkout prices, payment terms and refund arrangements must be published and reviewed before real purchases are accepted.

Certificates

Certificates are awarded upon completion of a course's requirements. Certificates confirm completion of Kogito Academy coursework and are not a substitute for an accredited academic qualification unless explicitly stated.

Intellectual property

All course materials, branding, and platform content are owned by Kogito Academy or its content authors and are protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to access content for personal learning.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kogito Academy is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
