What we collect

• Your account: your name, username and email address. Your password is handled by our sign-in service; we never see it.
• Your learning: the courses you take, your progress, your answers, submitted work, marks and certificates.
• AI tutor conversations: the questions you ask and the replies, so you can return to them, and your AI credit balance and charges.
• Messages and purchases: messages you send us, and the record of any order you place.

How we use it

To run your account, save your progress, mark your work, issue and verify certificates, answer your messages and keep Kogito secure. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your information.

AI

When you ask the AI tutor a question, we send your question, the lesson you are reading, any passage you selected and a few recent exchanges from the same conversation to our AI provider so it can answer. When your work is marked, your submission and the task’s marking criteria are sent the same way. Your profile, grades and other work are never included. Avoid typing personal information into questions or answers.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run Kogito: hosting, our AI provider and, when you buy something, the payment provider you choose, which handles your payment details directly. We share information beyond that only where the law requires it. A certificate shows your name and course to anyone who has its verification code.

Your choices

Download all your records at any time from your profile. To correct your details or delete your account, send us a message from the contact page. We keep your information while your account is open and delete it when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep part of it.

Your browser

Kogito stores your sign-in session and a few display preferences in your browser. Signing out removes the session.
